Day 31 of dip a day.

Well that's it folks I'm done for the month of August.

Thank you to all those who sponsored me, I persisted with my dips under all sorts of conditions.

Obviously my slight discomfort is nothing to those who are battling this hideous disease and being able to raise funds and awareness of the great job the Cancer council does is a privilege.

Well done to all the other dippers, see you all next year xxxx

Off to Halls Gap this weekend with Camera Club, so will have to find somewhere to dip !

Had a 26km northly so didn't get out to Nolean this morning but still got in and did a short paddle to the breakwater.

It was actually warm this morning! The Sun 🌞 was shining and water temp was 11 degrees.

Quite enjoying my early morning dips, 1st week was hard but now I spring out of bed and head down to the beach ⛱️

Water temp could be warmer but that's what makes it invigorating.

Cold swim this morning out to Nolean.

There was frost on my windscreen! Car temp said it was 3 degrees outside water definitely was under 10 degrees.

So glad to be back in Melbourne and swimming 🏊‍♀️ in Port Phillip Bay.

Tried another beach, Silver Sands.

Unfortunately only toes were dipped again today as the Algal Bloom is terrible, dead fish and smelly 😔 😢

Too much coloured foam and loads of dead fish 🐟

Will try a different beach tomorrow.

I've taken this dipping on tour.

Am in S.A. for a couple of days.

Can't really swim here as there is an Algal Bloom warning, so I just put my toes in.

Water temp 13.2 quite balmy compared to Willy Beach.

Day 13 of dip a day. Lovely morning but doesn't beat yesterday's beatufiul sunrise. Saw hot air balloons 🎈 on my paddle back from Nolean.

Day 12 of dip a day.

Today’s dip was full of love and friendship and a beautiful sunrise.

Saw Jess this morning, gave me the biggest hug and lots of encouragement for doing the dip a day.

Out at Nolean, I met up with KJ & Michelle, again loads of encouragement for doing the dip a day, photos and a chat before heading back into shore.

The net says water temp is 11.2 but I think it’s a bit cooler than that, will take Limoni Snickets out with me tomorrow for a better reading !

Beautiful sunny 🌞 morning for a dip, support crew was happy to be out and about in it.

Today was great, did my dip early morning instead of sparrows fart!

Boy oh boy it was difficult to get moving this morning, but I did it and am feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.

Day 5 of dip a day.

Today was the hardest day to get up and about, glad I did.

You will notice the hot pink rashie - Sharkskin supposed to be as thick as a wetsuit..... mmmmmm I think not but did keep me warmer than going without one.

Current bay temp is 10.8 degrees.

Day 2 of dip a day.   Pretty cold down in Willy but still swam out to Nolean and back to shore.   Saw a few other dippers with their yellow caps and stopped for a chat.
